TANGENTIAL AIR SEPARATORS_bucket image

Cemline Tangential Air Separators (TAS) extract air efficiently and rapidly from closed and open loop heating and cooling systems. Entrained air within the systems can cause unwanted noise, efficiency loss, or damage over time. Water enters the separator through a tangential port that creates a vortex within the tank that encourages the dissolved or entrained air to separate from the water as microbubbles and exit through an air vent at the top of the tank. The denser, air-removed water sinks to the bottom of the tank and exits the unit. The Separator can be supplied with an optional stainless-steel strainer to gather unwanted dirt and debris from the system.

TAS units can be supplied in either carbon or stainless-steel materials of construction.
